Charles Rothschild Lev is a licensed acupuncturist practicing holistic medicine in Portland, Oregon. His clinic is located in Multnomah Village, a folksy refuge within the city where he provides classical acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, wellness counseling, bodywork, and Qi Gong instruction. Charles also serves OHSU, Oregon Health Sciences University, where he is a member of the Family Medicine faculty at Gabriel Park Clinic. In addition, he serves as faculty at the National University of Natural Medicine, where he is a clinical supervisor for the Classical Chinese Medicine teaching clinic.
Charles holds a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland and a National Diplomate in Acupuncture. In addition, he completed a traditional residential apprenticeship in holistic medicine from the Barefoot Doctor’s Academy in Madisonville, Louisiana. Charles also holds a Bachelor of Arts from NYU, New York University’s Gallatin Division. He has been dedicated to the practice of Chinese medicine since 1993.
Charles brings advanced training in Five Element acupuncture to life with compassion and a personal commitment to relieving suffering and helping people find harmony in their lives. He is beloved by his patients and students for his open, compassionate, loving presence, humor, and age-old wisdom.
