Elizabeth McGlasson holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Health Education and a Master of Public Health in Health Promotion with emphasis in integrative healing, environmental health, and cultural and international health. Her undergraduate education in social work combined a foundation of social justice and cultural diversity with practicum and research experiences within the local Hispanic population. Elizabeth’s graduate research assistanceship worked on a community-based participatory research project that focused on the healthcare choices and effectiveness of occupational training programs with migrant farm workers. Elizabeth truly enjoys mentoring students in pursuit of professional goals and her teaching passions revolve around the topics of culture, health, education and the environment. In past roles, she has worked with children in various capacities, assisted veteran and military personnel, and has served as a licensed massage therapist.

Elizabeth has long called Oregon home, but has lived in various regions of the U.S. and internationally. When she’s not working, Elizabeth can usually be found loving on her son, hiking with her son and dogs, spending time with family and friends, or attempting self-care in the form of jogging, kayaking or yoga.
