In Memoriam: Deborah Solochek

Deborah Solochek, ND
Class of 2000
Dr. Deborah Solochek Napier died Sept. 29, 2008, after a long, difficult battle with scleroderma, a rare autoimmune disease. After graduation, Dr. Solochek began her medical practice in Portland, Oregon, and then she relocated and re-established her practice in Huntington, West Virginia. She was known as a gifted physician with an almost magical knack for healing those who sought her help. An inspiration to all she met, Dr. Solochek was committed to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. She was extremely successful in her work and found great joy in her life.
