The Lund Report: Physical Therapy, Acupuncture Reduce Opioid Dependence

NUNM Faculty Adjunct Kevin Wilson, ND (’83), was among the panelists this week discussing the opioid crisis, its impact on doctors and patients, and ways to combat addiction. The Oregon Health Plan recently began paying for physical therapy and acupuncture rather than surgery for low back pain. However, physical therapy and acupuncture don’t always work as shared in, “Physical Therapy, Acupuncture Reduce Opioid Dependence.”
