With more than 10 years of teaching and clinical experience, Amanda Margolin’s extensive community-based and clinical nutrition training and experience has allowed her to bring a relevant and diverse perspective to the undergraduate nutrition students at NUNM.

While remaining committed to staying current on nutrition research and trends, Amanda is able to disseminate to students many complex aspects of nutrition in an ever so changing field. Amanda brings her passion for education and nutrition while instructing various courses in the BScN program including: Community Nutrition, Nutrition in the News, American Food Systems, and Whole Foods: Rethinking the Science of Nutrition. Through her love of teaching, Amanda has created varied coursework from her diverse background while keeping in mind varied learning styles.

Amanda Margolin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition & Food Science from the University of Vermont in 2008, a Master of Science degree in Nutritional Science & Nutrition Education from California State University, Chico in 2013, and graduated from Oregon Health & Science University with her dietetic certification in 2014.
