My past professional experiences include restaurant developer, national sales leadership, entrepreneur/business owner, and co-founder of Weathered Hands & Hearts, a local non-profit. As a consultant, I have worked with healthcare professionals, municipalities, NGOs, and for-profit business development.
The committees I currently invest my time include Diversity Internship Program, Fuller Center (as an international team facilitator), Self-Enhancement Inc., Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity, and Unit Change Team for Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. I currently teach at five colleges in the areas of business development/marketing, and I own and operate a consulting firm, Paradigm Swift.
Community and global outreach include build trips to Thailand and Portugal (2022), Armenia (2019), Peru (2016), disaster relief in Puerto Rico (2018), Haiti (2013) as a business development adviser, China (2010) with a business delegation, and co-chaired a four-year term with School House Supplies.
On a personal note, I was born in Portland, Oregon, and have traveled all over the world for work and pleasure, but still find the Great Northwest to be a wonderful place to live. I embrace the luxury of having so many metropolitan and natural options within hours of my doorstep. I will take on the challenge of any DIY project, will travel to remote locations to experience cultures, and celebrate maintaining a balanced life. We recently adopted an Australian Shepherd who keeps our lives busy. I am very blessed to have an amazing wife and son who accept my crazy schedule.
