Gene Bowman, ND, MPH
Senior Research Investigator
Dr. Gene Bowman is a Senior Research Investigator in the Helfgott Research Institute. Dr. Bowman holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Old Dominion University (’97), a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (ND) from National University of Natural Medicine (’04) and a Master’s in Public Health Epidemiology and Biostatistics (MPH) from Oregon Health & Science University (’11). He completed postdoctoral research fellowship (NIH T32: 2005-08) and career development awards (NIH K23: 2008-13) in Nutrition and Neurology at Oregon Health & Science University, School of Medicine. His research interests include the study of nutrition and metabolism as it pertains to cognitive aging, Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.
