Thank you for considering hosting and mentoring a resident. It is an experience that we have found enriches the life of a new practitioner, helps grow your practice, and advances our profession. Please click here for the AOM Residency brochure.
Apply to be an AOM Residency Site
If you would like to become an off-campus AOM residency site through NUNM, please contact us for an application. We are happy to answer your questions and to help guide you through this process.
Once you submit the application, we will consider the fit of your site with the AOM Residency Program goals. If we agree to move forward with including your site in the AOM Residency Program, we will advertise and pre-screen applicants for your position. The final decision will be made by you and the applicant(s).
Before a resident starts working at your clinic, NUNM will need an affiliation agreement signed from you. This agreement states that your clinic is one of NUNM’s off-campus residency sites and that you agree to the philosophy of the residency program and the educational/training guidelines that NUNM has set forth. NUNM will also need a copy of the employment contract between you and the resident (template provided in packet).
Need More Information?
Please feel free to email us or call for further questions and/or concerns. We want to sincerely thank you for considering becoming part of the AOM Residency Program. Residency is a powerful learning opportunity for recent graduates – your time and energy are greatly appreciated.
