NUNM’s content strategist is responsible for creating highly strategic, persuasive, and memorable content across all platforms to expand brand awareness positioning NUNM as the “voice of natural medicine.” These efforts yield increased student enrollment and patient visits to our health centers.


  • Conceptual development, strategy and collaboration on the execution of various content deliverables across a variety of platforms, including website copy, blog posts, digital advertising, emails, print collateral, and social media posts
  • Create content strategy documentation, including content inventories, gap analyses, audits, mapping, migration planning and tracking, and process workflows
  • Participate in client meetings, creative brainstorms, and new business meetings
  • Develop a strong understanding of our internal clients’ businesses as well as our competitors; help ensure that our brand’s message is clear and consistent in all communication materials
  • Collaborate with the creative team to create concepts and messaging for major campaigns
  • Demonstrate significant digital commerce and content strategy knowledge; stay up-to-date on emerging trends and practices
  • Assist in the management of the university’s digital properties
  • Assist in the management and growth of the university’s social media accounts



Bachelor’s degree in design, English, communications, journalism, marketing, or relevant field and 5 or more years professional experience with content management.



  • Proven fast learner with the ability to absorb multidisciplinary (health) practices
  • Experience using social media in business
  • Experience building audiences and working on successful campaigns and digital content initiatives
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and presentation skills
  • Experience publishing digital content
  • Proficiency in tracking conversion metrics and SEO strategy
  • Ability to define and drive strategy, write strategic briefs, and present to clients
  • Experience overseeing projects from ideation through execution
  • Deep interest in tracking current trends and technology
  • Firm knowledge of how to establish a strong social media presence, and tailor content to educate and target consumers
