Auxiliary Services Representative

Perform various duties of retail and SIBO center administrative support operations that include: customer service, telephones, cashiering, daily reconciliation of receipts and deposits, operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control and other tasks as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide customer service by assisting customers with purchasing merchandise and prescriptions, placing orders, handling customer needs and complaints, and answering customer questions.
Provide cashiering function for sales of merchandise and prescriptions and reconcile daily sales with receipts before deposit.
Ensure a clean, organized and attractive retail spaces with fresh, relevant and rotating displays.
Perform opening, closing and key holding store and SIBO Center duties.
Work with management to maximize sales, minimize shrink and control inventory.
Work with management to process new merchandise, reconcile incoming orders for all retail operations, stock shelves and price merchandise.
Prepare returns and mail orders for shipping and assist with inventory control in store, medicinary and SIBO Center as assigned.
Work with management to guarantee appropriate merchandise and stock is ordered and available for the NUNM Store and Medicinary retail floors, and SIBO Center, as directed.
Run kits & record results on patient record for SIBO Center as directed.
Assist patients by explaining billing policies and communicating insurance coverages for SIBO/IBS Center charges with the help of health center billing department.
Organize and file Cal/QC logs for SIBO Center.
Responsible for regular retrieval and prompt return of calls forwarded to the voice mail system throughout the work shift to ensure quality customer service.
Attend all required trainings offered by the health centers and university.
Work Saturdays and evenings as needed.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and HIPPA compliance required.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Associate’s Degree and three years of retail experience in customer service, cashiering, shipping and receiving or equivalent combination of education and experience. POS software, light bookkeeping, 10-key skills and key holding experience required. Purchasing experience preferred. Experience in the natural health field and/or natural foods industry preferred.
