Adam Baratta, MScN

Adjunct Faculty
  • Education: National College of Natural Medicine, MScN, 2015

Adam Baratta received a BS in Biology and Environmental Sciences from Pacific University, where he studied restoration ecology and permaculture. His life-long appreciation for ecological systems and agriculture led him to volunteering and working on organic farms. He spent five years living and working as a full-time organic farmer, assistant farm manager, and mentor for aspiring farmers at Gales Meadow Farm. After moving to Portland, Adam worked with families and private clients to design and build in-home vegetable and herb gardens, as well as providing individualized garden coaching and small farm consulting. Searching for an opportunity to further the services he could offer to clients, he completed his Master of Science of Nutrition from NCNM (now NUNM). He provides nutritional counseling and consultation as well as garden building and coaching for families throughout Portland.
