Mallory Cochrane returned to her Portland roots after living in San Diego, CA, where she coordinated nonprofit community food security programs and managed four farmers’ markets throughout San Diego County. She holds a Master of Science in Food Systems and Society from Marylhurst University and a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management from the University of Nevada, Reno. Mallory is a worker-owner of Our Table Cooperative, a new multi-stakeholder food and farming cooperative outside of Portland. She is working through Our Table Cooperative to build the foundation of a local food system and economy that strives to create social change by developing interdependent relationships among all involved in the cultivation, distribution and consumption of sustainable, wholesome food.
