The National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Ore., is set to host Research Week from April 29 to May 3.

“The sole intention of NUNM’s Research Week is to foster community within the field of research, provide networking opportunities, highlight current innovative studies, and support the work of students through their educational journey,” said NUNM naturopathic and clinical research student Danielle ZuZero, who helped spearhead Research Week.

The exciting week full of events will kick off with a Social Networking Mixer and “State of Research” by Dr. Ryan Bradley, director of research and associate professor. Research Week events are open to all NUNM students, staff and faculty. Research students and professionals outside of the NUNM community are also encouraged to attend. Additionally, all events will be livestreamed.

“As a research student, I see this as an opportunity for collaboration, encouragement, and leveling up my skills as a scientist,” ZuZero said. “Talking with experienced researchers and clinicians is incredibly valuable and inspiring.”
