NUNM Impact celebrates academic success, groundbreaking research, expanded care, and professional advocacy.

The National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon, proudly announced the release of its 2024 impact report.
The publication, entitled NUNM Impact, is a celebration of the progress, partnerships, and people that made the past year truly remarkable. The report showcases NUNM’s academic successes, groundbreaking research, expanded community care, and advocacy for the future of natural medicine professions.
Among the many highlights from 2024 are:
- Reaching a powerful milestone: half of NUNM’s first-year ND students are now enrolled in the innovative First-Year Online program, making naturopathic medical education more accessible than ever.
- Supporting the future of Chinese medicine by welcoming students and faculty from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine after its closure — a historic moment of continuity and collaboration.
- Serving as a hub for community engagement and learning through public events such as “Discovery Day: Climate Change Health Risks Revealed.”
- Awarding more than $360,000 in scholarships to NUNM students.
- Enhancing opportunities for non-physician nutritionists to provide personalized care in Oregon.
