David Darter-Saunders, DC, MACM, is a licensed chiropractor and adjunct faculty member at NUNM. Emphasizing patient advocacy and broadening students’ awareness of what patient care can encompass are two foci for him in teaching. His professional interests are treating lower-motor neuron lesions, scar tissue remodeling, and bodywork. While teaching, he is currently finishing a doctorate in Chinese medicine.
