Dr. Ralston-Wilson received a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2009 and her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) from Bastyr University in 2013. Dr. Ralston-Wilson has been in practice since 2009. From 2013 to 2021, she worked as a licensed acupuncturist in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at Seattle Children’s Hospital where she actively contributed to the development of the inpatient acupuncture program working primarily with hospitalized and medically complex pediatric patients. Most recently, she served as the Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM). Dr. Ralston-Wilson is the lead or co-author of several publications, including an article titled, “The Feasibility of Developing an Inpatient Acupuncture Program at a Tertiary Care Pediatric Hospital,” which was considered groundbreaking work in the U.S. on providing inpatient acupuncture services for pediatric patients. She has also been an adjunct faculty member at Bastyr University and OCOM. Dr. Ralston-Wilson also maintains a private practice in West Linn, OR.
