
Healthy volunteers are needed for NUNM’s Helfgott Research Institute study on taking a supplement made from Gotu kola.
You may be eligible if you:
- Are an adult between the ages of 50 and 85 years old.
- Are willing to take a Gotu kola supplement for 4 weeks.
- Can attend 3 morning (8 am – 12 pm) study visits over 5 weeks (about 60-90 min each).
- Are willing to have blood draws taken at the beginning and end of the study.
- Are willing to abstain from food 12 hours prior to study visits.
- Are not currently taking Gotu kola.
- Have no history of heart attacks, strokes, or other life-threatening medical conditions.
- Do not use blood pressure medication, anticoagulant medication (blood thinners), or chronically use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications.
If you are eligible and enroll in the study, you could be compensated with up to $200.
