Students in Chinese medicine classroom

College of Classical Chinese Medicine

The College of Classical Chinese Medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine is dedicated to helping students develop a deep understanding of the wisdom of ancient healers. The education provided is the most comprehensive training in classical Chinese medicine (CCM) offered in the U.S., through the distinguished members of our faculty.

NUNM’s College of Classical Chinese Medicine believes that the brilliance of biomedicine is most powerfully applied within the context of whole-systems science, and that Chinese medicine can only truly flourish when understood and applied according to its own precepts and tenets. This approach is in conscious contrast to the modern trend of interpreting Chinese medicine from the biomedical perspective.

All CCM programs are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (ACAHM) and qualify graduates to sit for the national board examinations administered by NCCAOM prior to applying for licensure.
