Dulcinea Childs specializes in a whole-person approach to nutrition, believing people can take control of their health and their lives through nourishing food, a balanced lifestyle, and a positive state of mind. She feels that healthy eating can be fun and delicious, and enjoys educating and inspiring others. She is a registered dietitian (licensed in Oregon) and earned her Master in Nutrition Science from University of Alabama and Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University. Her professional journey has included time spent as an outpatient/private practice dietitian, nutrition policy advocate, and small food business owner. She teaches the Business of Nutrition and Obesity, Metabolic Syndrome & Diabetes courses and leads the NUNM Diabetes Prevention Program.
