With an interest in health and wellness from a young age, Ian is passionate about helping people find their most well selves. After struggling with his own wellness, Ian jumped from jobs in supplement sales to diet consulting to personal training, along the way earning a Master’s of Health in Arts and Sciences from Goddard College. During his studies he became convinced that the influence of culture on individual relationships with food has been under-appreciated. He decided to use this knowledge, combined with his experience, to help people achieve their best self in a whole way taking a psycho, spiritual, cultural approach. This allowed him to go beneath the surface to find the source of his clients’ struggles and support them in reaching their wellness goals in a whole person way, especially in their relationships with their food, fitness and body image.
Ian has been a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Health Coach, American Council on Exercise (ACE) since 2001. His guidance empowers his clients to find the same passion for leading a healthy, happy and balanced life that he has discovered. In his personal time he enjoys science fiction, cooking, adventurous eating, and spending time outdoors with his wife.
