Laura Carim Todd holds a PhD in Genetics from the University of Barcelona (Spain) and a 200-hour Yoga Alliance yoga teacher certification. Her experience in scientific research combines five years of postdoctoral work on neural development at The National Cancer Institute and five+ years of clinical research studying the impact of mind-body practices on the neurophysiology of stress and nicotine addiction. She teaches yoga regularly at Oregon Health & Science University and in the community.
