Selin Strait has a MA in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Antioch University New England. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon. Her post graduate work includes The Interpersonal Neurobiology Certificate from PSU, Year 1 of Somatic Experiencing and ongoing studies in Mindful Experiential Therapy Approaches.

Selin spent the first part of her adult life working as a server and bartender to support her endeavors in community art and activism. Selin came to therapy seeing the connection between human hurt and the hurt in the world and the belief that if we feel better, the world will be better. Selin’s background in social justice, activism, spirituality, feminism and her own experience of healing informs her work. Selin grew up in Vermont and now lives in Portland with her partner, cat and dog. Selin loves spending her free time in her garden, and dancing.
