Dr. Taylor Boham is NUNM’s Assistant Medical and Residency Director. She received her degree from NUNM, which is where she also completed a post-graduate three-year residency. Her medical training and residency were focused on primary care, including community health.
She currently maintains a student teaching clinical rotation at NUNM where she practices primary care. Her clinical interests include women’s health, sex education, and infertility. Beyond helping individuals who are trying to conceive, she treats diseases such as hypothyroidism, PCOS, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression, anxiety, and much more. Although Dr. Boham is able to provide gynecologic care, she is unable to provide obstetric care and will refer pregnant patients out for comprehensive prenatal care. She is passionate about root cause medicine and uses a variety of treatment modalities such as nature cure, homeopathy, pharmaceuticals, and botanicals to help her patients meet their goals.
Prior to medical school, she studied Biology, Chemistry and Religion at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. During her time there, she was involved in athletics, pedagogic research, and was the president of a nonprofit organization that aimed to improve afterschool experiences for under-resourced communities. Her love for teaching and education makes “docere” her favorite naturopathic principle.
When Dr. Boham is not in the clinic, she enjoys reading, puzzles, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family.
