What to do when you are ill

If you have any contagious symptoms (including flu, cold, and COVID), please do not come to campus until you have been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and your symptoms are improving. As of September 2025 the infectious disease reporting form is no longer required if you are ill or have a known COVID exposure. 

Any questions or concerns regarding return to campus guidelines can be sent to infectiousdisease@nunm.edu.

Any questions or concerns regarding absence policies should be directed to the Office of Student Life or your supervisor.

Do not come to campus if you are ill, regardless of the reason. Use this Moodle Page and the below flow chart to help determine when it is safe to return to campus.
