Angela Senders, ND, MCRAffiliate Research Investigator
Dr. Senders is an Assistant Research Investigator in the Helfgott Research Institute. She is a methodologist at heart with a passion for teaching in any setting. Dr. Senders received a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from National University of Natural Medicine in 2005 and a master’s degree in clinical research from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in 2014. She completed research training in the NIH-funded T32 program Complementary and Alternative Medicine Research Training in Neuroscience and Stress at OHSU and received a K23 Career Development Award from NIH National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. Her research interests include behavioral and mental health, stress and stress-management, mindfulness, disability and health inequities.
