
Carina StaabAssistant Research Investigator
Dr. Carina Staab, DC, MEd is a researcher and chiropractor specializing in pain management, musculoskeletal and spinal conditions, and chiropractic care. She earned her Master of Education in Exercise Science from Wichita State University in 2013, where she also defended her dissertation on concussion management. In 2019, she completed her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and subsequently served as adjunct faculty at the University of Western States for three years, teaching courses such as Jurisprudence and Ethics, Clinical Training Phase I Lab, and Physiotherapy Modalities.
In 2021, Dr. Staab was selected for the prestigious three-year BRIDG postdoctoral fellowship in clinical research at the University of Washington. Her research focuses on spinal manipulation, chronic pain, and therapeutic interventions, contributing to clinical guidelines and evidence-based practices in integrative healthcare. She has presented her work at national and international conferences and remains dedicated to advancing whole-person health.
Dr. Staab is an assistant research investigator at the Helfgott Research Institute and an adjunct faculty member at NUNM. She currently serves as a fee-based chiropractor at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, WA.
