Dharma Colgan, PhDPost-doctoral Research Investigator
Dr. Colgan is a post-doctoral research investigator and licensed clinical psychologist at the Helfgott Research Institute, receiving training through the NIH-funded BRIDG R90 program. She obtained a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University, specializing in cogntive assessment, integrated healthcare, and mind-body medicine. Subsequently, she completed a four-year T32 Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Neurology at Oregon Health and Science University to receive advanced training in behavioral neuroscience, neuropsychology, and mind-body medicine. Her research interests include identifying modifiable preoperative predictors of post neurosurgical outcomes, investigating mechanisms of nonpharmaceutical interventions that may shape adaptive responses to pain and stress in neurological disease, and develop, optimize, and evaluate treatment outcomes of mind-body interventions for neurological populations.
