Governor Appoints Regina Dehen to State Committee

Chief Medical Officer Regina Dehen, ND (’96), LAc, has been appointed by Oregon Gov. Kate Brown to the state Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC). Dr. Dehen’s term runs until Nov. 30, 2018. The MAC is responsible for developing and advising policy recommendations at the request of the governor, the Legislature and the Oregon Health Authority. The committee has been a key voice in Oregon health care, including developing a policy framework for the necessary federal waivers for the Oregon Health Plan. In addition, it has advised state government on the Affordable Care Act, and likely will be involved in policy related to the ACA’s repeal or change.
