Public Transportation

Tri-Met has a great trip planner. If you are taking TriMet, the downtown Portland Transit Mall and nearby stops are served by MAX Light Rail lines Blue, Red, Green, Yellow, and Orange, along with frequent bus service. All provide connections within walking distance of NUNM’s new downtown campus.

Academic & Administrative Building

The heart of campus is NUNM’s Academic Building, located in the university’s new downtown home. The 182,000 square foot space houses classrooms, labs, faculty offices, a library, and student services, all designed to support learning and collaboration.

NUNM’s administration and counseling services are also located within the same downtown campus building, supporting students and faculty in one centralized location.

 

NUNM’s Lair Hill Health Center

Our main health center is located on campus at the west end of the Ross Island Bridge. The 20,000-square-foot clinic is the largest naturopathic medicine facility in the Portland area. NUNM Health Centers offer cutting-edge treatments in the field of natural medicine, including a full prescription herb and supplement store.

Helfgott Research Institute

Helfgott is located a few blocks north of campus on SW First Avenue. The building also houses the School of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies, Food as Medicine Institute, a teaching kitchen and classrooms. A TriMet lightrail station is easy walking distance, just a few blocks away at Lincoln and SW Third Avenue.

Public Transportation: Tri-Met has a great trip planner. If you are taking Tri-Met; buses 9, 17, 35, 36, 38, 43, 45, 54, 55, 56 and 92, and the light rail (orange line) pass near Helfgott.

Directions
