Curriculum – Master of Science in Nutrition

Our Master of Science in Nutrition (MScN) program at the National University of Natural Medicine offers a comprehensive and practice-based curriculum to equip students with advanced skills and professional training in nutrition. This program — available in-person or online — covers various focus areas, including:

  • Clinical Nutrition
  • Community Nutrition
  • Culinary Nutrition
  • Environmental Nutrition

Throughout the MScN program, students will develop competencies in biomedical science, skills expertise, ethics, and personal and professional growth. You will learn about the impact of nutritional science on human health and metabolism, develop tools to apply nutrition knowledge in clinical, educational, and culinary settings, and understand the importance of ethical and legal standards in your professional practice. Students will also be able to cultivate scholarly activity and expand your career prospects within the evolving nutrition and healthcare community. 

Additionally, NUNM Nutrition students can choose from various elective courses to further enhance your education, including options from the College of Naturopathic Medicine, College of Classical Chinese Medicine, and School of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies.
