The NUNM Food as Medicine Institute’s “Food as Medicine Everyday: Seasonal Cooking” series will teach about the benefits of eating with the seasons and how to incorporate more fresh fruits and vegetables into meals. The fall class will show how to cook what’s in season, from pumpkin and squash to apples and grapes, while learning about the nutritional benefits of this seasonal fall produce. The class will feature hands-on cooking practice and a nutrition lesson, with time for questions and to share in a meal. Cost is $49. Class will be held in Charlee’s Kitchen at the Helfgott Research Institute.
