Take the next step toward CNS certification and state licensure!
We present NUNM’s new postgraduate nutrition internship program that provides CNS-approved supervised practice experience, so you can earn CNS hours that help you become a licensed nutritionist in Oregon and other states.
Take this opportunity to interact with the program organizers, Dulcie Childs, Dr. Andy Erlandsen, Kira Freed, Dr. Kimberly Queen, and Ian Rubin, to learn how this internship can help you achieve your professional goals.
This internship will provide:
- Direct participation in clinical nutrition care, both in-person and via telehealth encounters
- Advanced experience developing personalized nutrition care plans
- Practice in health coaching, nutrition counseling, and motivational interviewing
- Training in soft and hard clinical skills, ordering and evaluating clinical laboratory tests
- Clinician shadowing and case discussions
- Community nutrition, including facilitating workshops for potential clients
