July 11, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

This training has been moved to an online platform via Zoom. To attend this meeting, please click the zoom link here:     https://us06web.zoom.us/j/85211716452

Trauma affects everyone, either directly or indirectly. The transgender population is no exception; they are more likely to experience trauma. They are often revictimized by well-meaning people who don’t know how to minimize or eliminate further harm. This 1-hour trauma-informed care course with a focus on the transgender population has the following objectives:

  • Identify various responses to stress
  • Recognize reactions to trauma triggers
  • Understand how to develop and support resilience
  • Identify strategies to interact with and help trauma survivors
