Focus Groups for Patients with Radiating Back Pain

Investigators at Helfgott Research Institute are starting a new study on how mindfulness and physical activity might help decrease symptoms of lumbosacral radiculopathy, otherwise known as sciatica. Participants in this study will participate in focus groups. They will be asked about their pain experience and to provide feedback on components of the new intervention.  

You may be eligible if:

  • You have been diagnosed with or are currently experiencing symptoms of lumbosacral radiculopathy, also known as sciatica, or radiating low back pain.
  • Are at least 18 years old and not older than 65.
  • Are able to read and understand English  

Compensation: 

  • You may receive up to $50 for your participation in this study.
