Preceptorships

ND Preceptorship Program

To arrange ND preceptorships, please begin by enrolling yourself in, and thoroughly reviewing the Preceptorship course Moodle page.

ND Preceptorship opportunities and documentation requirements are available for review and submission through MyCareer–NUNM’s online experiential learning and career services system. If you are an enrolled ND student or an NUNM alumnus, a MyCareer account has already been created for you.

If you haven’t logged into MyCareer before, you will need your student ID and a valid email address in order to access your account and create your profile. Click here and select Forgot Password:

MyCareer Login

For complete information about the program, and prior to beginning your first preceptorship, you are encouraged to review the ND Preceptorship Student Manual.

If you are hoping to create a new preceptorship with a clinician but can’t find  them on MyCareer/they are not approved for preceptorship, please send your potential preceptor to our online application form: https://nunm.edu/preceptorships/apply/

If you don’t see an opportunity on MyCareer that you believe already exists, please send Kate Martinez  an email with the the clinician’s full name and  clinic name.  Some preceptors are not visible on MyCareer but are approved to supervise your rotation.

Enrolling yourself in, and thoroughly reviewing the Preceptorship course Moodle page will answer many questions. Of course, feel free to contact Kate Martinez with any additional concerns.
