Portland Business Journal: Missionary Chocolates Prepares for International Take-Off

NCNM alumna Melissa Berry, ND (’08), took an unconventional route to naturopathic success. In 2008, she turned to one of her passions, baking, to create a dairy-free chocolate product for her vegan mother. The results of her truffle creations were met with such enthusiasm, Dr. Berry started the company that would one day help realize her life’s “mission.” Her strategy to fund a research and healing center is featured in “Missionary Chocolates prepares for international take-off.”
