An All-New Integrative Therapeutics & Massage Therapy Program, Now at NUNM
The National University of Natural Medicine is proud to announce an all-new Bachelor of Science opportunity with its Integrative Therapeutics & Massage Therapy degree.
The program, designed for transfer students who have already completed two years of Associate-level coursework, provides program attendees guidance, training, and rigorous instruction in human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and clinical science.
Students will be taught a curriculum centered on integrative health and whole-person care across two years and 97 credit hours, focusing on the overall wellness of their patients, the reduction of their stress, and relief of their pain through massage therapy.
Graduates will complete the program with more than a degree, they’ll have earned the knowledge and skills to become highly skilled, licensed massage therapists.
“We’re incredibly excited to be offering this program,” said FIRSTNAME LASTNAME, JOB TITLE.
“With more and more people seeking integrative and complimentary medicine,, our Bachelor of Science in Integrative Therapeutics & Massage Therapy offers a unique educational experience while training them for a career in a rapidly growing field.”
“People shouldn’t feel boxed in, career-wise, after graduation, and this degree offers a variety of paths to choose from.”
What Makes NUNM’s Integrative Therapeutics & Massage Therapy Program Unique
The demand for massage therapy is growing. Over the next decade, massage therapy employment is estimated to increase by 15%, a much faster rate of growth compared to other occupations.
In response, we’ve developed a hands-on program that is designed to meet the needs of the next generation of massage therapists while exceeding current standards of education and training, giving graduates a broader spectrum of career opportunities.
Students focus on Integrative Therapeutics and Massage Therapy from a whole-person perspective, with learning that emphasizes the understanding of and relationships between human anatomy, kinesiology, pain science, and other evidence-informed techniques.
They’ll learn manual skills and holistic and inclusive care techniques through guided lab work and clinical rotations.
With NUNM’s focus on advanced education, students will be better prepared for a more competitive marketplace.
Earning a bachelor’s degree not only gives students a deeper educational foundation, it also helps them to stand out from the competition, broadening their clinical and professional opportunities.
Students will graduate from this program fully prepared for state licensure and national board certification, ready to pursue a career in a wellness center or spa, a sports medicine facility, a hospital or medical office, or to open their own clinic or practice.
“One of the things I love about this program is the professional flexibility it offers,” said Dean NUNM’s School of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies, Andrew Erlandsen, ND.
“People shouldn’t feel boxed in, career-wise, after graduation, and this degree offers a variety of paths to choose from.”
