The Portland Business Journal has announced our most recent grant given by the National Institutes of Health to research how a compound from hops may reduce bowel inflammation.

The university has received more than $3 million from the NIH since 2015. Dr. Ryan Bradley, who directs the Helfgott Research Institute, is the study’s principal investigator for NUNM.
