Student Clubs at NUNM

Becoming involved in any of student clubs at NUNM allows you to meet and develop relationships with fellow students, staff, and faculty while becoming acquainted with potential career paths and interests. Applied Kinesiology Club

AK is a system that evaluates structural, biochemical, and emotional aspects of health utilizing manual muscle testing, Chinese medicine, and osteopathic modalities, among others.

BIPOC Student Affinity Group

A collective for those students identifying as black, indigenous, or persons of color to build community around shared experiences, cultural celebration, mentorship, and addressing systemic inequities.

Craniology Club

To create a space for students to learn and practice the therapeutic modality of Craniosacral Body Work with the guidance of a certified practitioner. Students of all experience backgrounds will be welcomed.

Enneagram Club

Make enneagram concepts accessible to students in order to grow as physicians and to better serve their patients.

Geriatric Club

To facilitate clinical understanding and education around naturopathic treatment of geriatrics, including end of life care.

Gynecology Club

We envision a world where naturopathic medicine plays a pivotal role in women’s health. We strive to unite like-minded individuals who share a common passion for gynecology within the realm of naturopathic medicine. Through a variety of events, workshops, and social gatherings, we aim to build lasting connections, forging a supportive network of peers and mentors. We are striving to host events that focus on honing our skills in gynecological care through hands-on training, case studies, and practical workshops. Exposure to diverse perspectives via speaker events will enrich our knowledge and equip us to make informed decisions in women’s healthcare.

Herb Society Club

Our goal is to provide NUNM students with an opportunity to grow their understanding of herbal knowledge through group activities and meetings held monthly.

Homeopathy club

The NUNM Homeopathy Club’s mission is to create a nurturing community dedicated to the exploration and sharing of homeopathy. We believe in the power of holistic healing and strive to foster a space where like-minded individuals can come together to deepen their understanding of homeopathy alongside naturopathy.

Midwifery/Obstetrical Club

The purpose of this organization shall be to bring the birth community together at NUNM providing support, information, and a forum for discussion. The birth community includes not only those planning to become naturopathic midwives, but also people interested in women’s health, pediatrics, learning about the field, and in supporting naturopathic midwifery. Everyone is welcome to join and to attend any meeting or event.

Movement Club

Relax and decompress via the promotion of bodily movement

NUNM Qi Ballers

To provide a recreational soccer team for NUNM students to join who want to play in various adult soccer leagues in the Portland area. In addition, to provide a fun environment for students to connect with one another and alumni outside of an academic environment and to further market NUNM to the Portland community. The Qi Ballers are a cohesive team that allows for community outside of school.

Oncology Club

The Oncology Club aims to provide an educational and professional development experience for members and all attendees. The club will provide information guides, guest speaker events, oncology association memberships, and conference watch parties. We hope to broaden the study of oncology for ND students and promote learning and networking opportunities.

Plants, Pills and People: Psych Perspectives

Wait, should these challenges be classified as conditions? If so, how should they be treated? Should we be using plants, pills, or something else? These are the types of questions we will discuss in our monthly meetings (with food and beverage, of course).

Psychedelic & Entheogens Club

To provide a space where we can discuss research, innovation, and legislation of psychedelic medicine.

Rags to Riches Club

Rags to Riches Social Club offers all NUNM students an opportunity to push their boundaries outside the academic environment. We aim to equip students with practical insights, helping them better align with their passions and delve deeper into the business landscape. Our activities encompass networking sessions, lectures from industry experts, and collaborations with local businesses. Our mission is to harmoniously merge students’ academic pursuits with their professional goals, fostering a business-oriented approach while preserving NUNM’s core values and vision.

Rheumatology Club

To bring more awareness about rheumatology and a safe place to discuss autoimmune diseases.

Tea Club

The NUNM Tea Club is dedicated to the exploration of health in nature, culture, individual and social bodies. The practice of brewing and drinking tea serves as a medium to incorporate the doctrines of natural medicine with social ethic, hygiene and service. All are welcome of any experience level. Our club is a venue for education and community.
