1,000 Friends of NUNM Scholarships
Made possible through the generosity of donors, the 1,000 Friends of NUNM scholarships are awarded to three students in the amount of $1,000, evenly distributed over Fall, Winter and Spring terms from the Financial Aid Office.

Diipali Barrett Scholarship
The Diipali Barrett Scholarship is awarded to one student enrolled in the Naturopathic Medicine, Master of Science in Integrative Medicine Research (MSIMR), or Dual-Track Programs. This scholarship in the amount of $2,000 was established to honor the life and work of Diipali (Deborah) Barrett, ND. Dr. Barrett was an NCNM (now NUNM) alumna and faculty member and was dedicated to the building of a social and cultural framework of equality that promotes ecological awareness – a framework that supports the fulfillment of the mental, physical, and spiritual needs of all. The scholarship will be evenly distributed over Fall, Winter and Spring terms from the Financial Aid Office.

The Percy & Adrienne Frazier Scholarship will be awarded to 18 current full-time students in the amount of $5,000. The scholarships are made possible by a generous donation from the Frazier family. Schleich/Czeranko Scholarship
The Schleich/Czeranko Scholarship will be awarded to two students who have successfully completed at least one year of study in their degree program. The scholarship is awarded in the amount of $2,000, and was made possible by generous donations from our community in honor of NUNM President Emeritus David J. Schleich, PhD, and Staff Emerita, Sussanna Czeranko, ND, BBE. Drs. Schleich and Czeranko are prolific writers and scholars in their fields and leave a legacy of scholarship and advancement to the natural medicine profession. The scholarship will be evenly distributed over Fall, Winter and Spring terms from the Financial Aid Office.

Dr. Robert Sklovsky Memorial Scholarship
The Dr. Robert Sklovsky Memorial Scholarship is awarded to one student in the amount of $5,000. Its purpose is to enrich NUNM’s learning community by recognizing and supporting outstanding students from underrepresented populations that include consideration of race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, and socio-economic status. This scholarship invests in the inherent value of all people and recognizes that a healthy community includes individuals from various backgrounds, with diverse talents, interests, and life experiences. This scholarship honors diversity. The scholarship will be evenly distributed over Fall, Winter and Spring terms from the Financial Aid Office.

Dr. Gary Weiner Memorial Scholarship
The Dr. Gary Weiner Memorial Scholarship is awarded in the amount of $5,000 to a student enrolled in the Naturopathic Medicine program with a focus in Integrative Gastroenterology. It was made possible by generous donations from our community in collaboration with Ellen Goldsmith, LAc (’99). The scholarship will be evenly distributed over Fall, Winter and Spring terms from the Financial Aid Office.

The Standard Process Scholarship is awarded to one student enrolled in the Naturopathic Medicine program in the amount of $2,500. This scholarship was made possible by a generous donation from Standard Process. Standard Process believes that whole-foods nutrition is essential for maintaining health, and that healthcare providers offer the best direction to guide patients in their nutritional needs. The scholarship will be evenly distributed over Fall, Winter and Spring terms from the Financial Aid Office.
