The prices in the tables above are based on ’25-’26 tuition/fees and reflect our anticipated ’26-’27 rates, however these are subject to change

** In years two and three, graduate courses are required and will be charged at the graduate tuition rate.

Other Expenses

Students are required to purchase textbooks and other personal equipment, including name tags and business cards, as well as basic diagnostic equipment, for use in courses and clinic. These costs vary from year to year.

Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance (COA) is the estimated cost for a student to attend the institution each year.  In addition to tuition and fees you need to budget accordingly for other expenses. These expenses include living expenses, transportation, personal expenses, books, and supplies. Please contact the financial aid office if you need assistance or tools with setting a budget financialaid@nunm.edu.

Professional Licensure or certification (NPLEX 1, NPLEX 2, Jurisprudence, clean needling exam & Chinese Medicine boards) **$700-$4,615
**Naturopathic Doctorate and Chinese Medicine students (Mac, MACCHM, DACCHM) will have funding available for the cost of obtaining their first professional licensure, or certification. Awarding of funds will depend on the student’s year in the program.
