FAQ

The online program mirrors the in-person BSIHS program but offers flexibility in completing coursework during the week. Most classes are self-paced, though there are optional live sessions for students and faculty to engage.
Most course content is delivered asynchronously, enabling students to access materials whenever convenient. While some classes occur in real-time through virtual meetings, schedules for these synchronous sessions are shared well ahead of each term. This empowers students to craft their schedules and independently manage most of their coursework.
Residents of Portland, Oregon, have the choice to enroll in either our online or in-person programs. The traditional in-person program might be preferable for individuals who thrive in structured environments with fixed schedules. The online program is designed for those seeking a more flexible schedule. Additionally, students in the Portland metro area who are enrolled in the online program can opt for in-person elective courses if they prefer attending classes on campus.
No, as a private, non-state institution, tuition is the same for residents and non-residents.
