Is there a difference in tuition cost if I am a non-resident of Oregon?

No, as a private, non-state institution, tuition is the same for residents and non-residents.

Do I need prior research experience?

No, we will train you from the beginning, we have had students with undergraduate degrees in fashion, accounting, exercise science, and none of these students had any research experience. They have all excelled in the program.

Does NUNM conduct animal research?

No, NUNM does clinical research only.

How does NUNM’s online research program work?

Since our research is human focused, we conduct surveys, case studies, complete secondary data analysis and other research that can be performed in an online setting.

Can I pick what I study?

Yes! NUNM’s research program is unique in the fact that our students can research what they are interested in. We help you build a mentorship team to oversee your research.

How do I find a mentor?

NUNM has collaborations with colleges and universities around the world. Once you have identified your research interests, we help you build a relationship with an established researcher that shares your interests.

Can I attend conferences?

It is required for research students to attend at least one conference during their studies. If you wish to attend an additional conference it counts as an elective credit. Since this is included in your educational experience it is covered by Financial Aid.
